SUDAMERICA FUTSAL ACCEPTED INTO UNITED FUTSAL CHAMPIONS CUP SERIES
Championship-winning Atlanta-based club will compete in Eastern Conference
Atlanta, GA – Sudamerica Futsal has been accepted into the United Futsal Champions Cup Series for the upcoming Season II. A nationally recognized club and perennial powerhouse both on the boys and girls side, the club now adds the highest level of futsal to its players’ calendars each year beginning this Winter.
Richard Ortega, Director of Coaching, officially announced the acceptance today.
“We look forward to being part of this prestigious competitive league where players can carry themselves with higher standards. The diverse competition at the National and International level will create unique opportunities for players to have more meaningful and complete youth development years.”
Ortega, alongside partner Rudi Pires, have led Sudamerica Futsal since its inception in 2017. In a short 5 years, their teams have won numerous local, regional and national championships.

The club will feature 3 boys and 3 girls futsal teams in bi-annual age divisions alongside a co-ed team for the Champions Cup Series. Each team will compete in 3 official tournaments each year: Conference Championships each Winter and the National Championships and World Futsal Championships each Summer.
